October 16, 2020Caribbean National Weekly posted an article titled, COVID-19 Cases Increase in Miami-Dade and Broward Public Schools. The article describes how these two counties have seen a resurgence of COVID-19 cases less than two weeks of starting in-person learning. Miami-Dade County schools have 28 confirmed cases where 14 students and 14 staff members had tested positive for the virus. Meanwhile, Broward County Schools have reported that more than 45 staff members and one student tested positive just only four days after the county reopened for face-to-face learning.
